The Collection
In this series inspired by the red Akae porcelains first produced in Arita in the 17th century, Fanny Dreyer freely reinterprets traditional landscape motifs by blending Japanese and European folklore. On these irregular, ivory-glazed pieces, artisans delicately recompose the artist’s nostalgic and vivid world using five-colour silk-screen prints.
The Artist
Fanny Dreyer is a Swiss illustrator and animated film director. Gifted with synaesthesia, she perceives letters in colors, a sensitivity that resonates in the vivid tones of the mountains she loves to draw. Her delicate and poetic work explores nature, childhood, and the passage of time. She is the author of Collections, awarded the Swiss Youth Literature Prize in 2024.
