AVAILABLE WHOLESALE Porcelain — Handcrafted in Arita, Japan In collaboration with Kihara
The collection
In this series of small square dishes, also known as mamezara or ‘bean plates,’ Jacco Bunt revisits traditional blue-and-white porcelain motifs. His illustrations, inspired by daily life in Japan and the Netherlands, nod to the connection between Arita and Delft. Artisans apply the designs by hand beneath the glaze for lasting durability.
The artist
Jacco Bunt is a Dutch artist and graphic designer. His work, conceived as a kind of visual diary, draws inspiration from everyday objects. He brings them to life through geometry and vibrant colors, maintaining a delicate balance between figuration and abstraction. He collaborates regularly with Hermès, who have entrusted him to design silk scarves.
