AVAILABLE ON ALLOCATION Mizuki wood— Handcrafted in Naruko, Japan In collaboration with Sakurai Kokeshiten
The collection
In this modern kokeshi series, Séverin Millet’s playful vision meets the centuries-old craft of the Sakurai family, woodturners for six generations in the mountains of Tōhoku. Made from locally grown mizuki wood, each figure is meticulously carved and hand-painted by the artisans. Production is limited and undertaken exclusively to order, preserving the intimate, small-batch spirit of this rare craftsmanship.
